Boomie Bol posted yesterday on her blog a post about spine book poetry. See here. I thought it was wicked cool and totally clever so I decided to try it myself!
Unfortunately, mine is not as great. Not only do I have a limited collection of books, but most of them are Young Adult. Too bad I don’t possess more literary novels. But here’s my poem using book spines. 🙂
The Age of Innocence,
The Princess and the Captain,
The Last Survivors; The World We Live In,
Passion,
Dark Secrets; No Time To Die, The Deep End of Fear,
Darker Still;
Deliruim;
Pandemonium.
Hehe, while mine’s not as great as Boomie Bol’s I had fun messing with my books trying to create a poem from their titles! The books I used were:
1. Edith Wharton’s The Age of Innocence
2. Anne-Laure Bondoux’s The Princess and The Captain
3. Susan Beth Pfeffer’s The Last Survivors The World We Live In
4. Lauren Kate’s Passion
5. Elizabeth Chandler’s Dark Secrets 2; No Time To Die and The Deep End of Fear
6. Leanna Renee Hieber’s Darker Still
7. Lauren Oliver’s Delirium
8. Lauren Oliver’s Pandemonium
