Crime and Honesty.

We looked at the body on the floor before us.  The blood spilled out from her throat, and her eyes barely seemed to register it.  Her lips were slightly parted in surprise.  My partner made a noise and we both looked to the knife in my gloved hand.  “Don’t ever lie to me,” I said.
